The idea that the visual arts can be a mirror to the world was born twenty five centuries ago in Athens. The depictions of myths and symbols in ancient Greek and classical art remain relevant to this day. They have given shape to our culture and provide an enormously rich resource which serves as a basis for my work. The art shown on this Web site is inspired by a wish to portray these ancient themes in a modern style.
